Exclamation 2007 Raptor 700 Help!

Aloha, I have a 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700se with K&N intake and full sparks exhaust. I went for a ride the other day and at low speeds the bike did fine. Then when I started to get on it it died on me. I was able to get it started the first three times then when it went out for the fourth time it just won't start. The motor turns over but it won't start. Is this a sensor issue? How can I fix this. Please help! Anything will help.

Do you have a fuel controller on it, if so check your settings. It sounds like the plug is fouled to me. Try replacing the spark plug.

I don't have a fuel controller so I'll try and replace the plug. Thanks for the suggestions.

With a full pipe and a K&N filter you are going to be running VERY lean and that can damage the motor. I would get one on it ASAP.

If your going to be doing any internal mods like, a cam, head work, etc I would go with a power commander 3 or power commander 5. If your just staying with exhaust and intake any of the dobeck or comparable controllers will work fine but they are a bit tougher to tune.

You can find the dobecks used on modded raptor or raptor forum for generally around $100 if your on a budget.

Did change the plug and still didn't start. Unhooked the battery then reconnected it and it started right up. But more of the same, as soon as I get on the throttle it killed on me, wtf?
