It looks like a relabled dobeck gen III or later which is real common (a lot of companies relable the dobeck and sell it with their aftermarket parts). If it is it will work fine for basic modifications. If you were going to do anything extensive I would go with a dynojet power commander III or V.

 

i would invest in a power commander

 

+2 on the power commander, dobeck and the like are junk
