I have a 2001 Banshee and love it. Its got FMF SST pipes and of course a K&N Filter. The pipes made a world of difference but I want to make my low end power and throttle response snapier, so i don't have to keep the revs up so much.. Ok Ok i know 2 bangers don't have all the low end torque in the world but I am hopin for some help. Also, What kind of tires does everybody run and in what conditions???I hear the stock tires are the best????
Thanks

Boyesen Rad valves or V-Force Reed cages will improve your throttle response. I had the Rad valves in my Banshee and after I installed them I didn't need to slip the clutch nearly as much to get into the power. Or if you have $2000 to spend you can get the FMF power valve cylinders. They should give you some low end snap.

Up your compression with a Prodesign cool head with 20cc or 21cc domes, or get your stock head milled .30 .40 or .50.

Advance your timing, with any plate they sell for $80 to $100(prodesign, trinity, engine trix, ohtonracing), or there is a way you can make your stock one like them by slotting it more or something. I forget how.

delta 2 vforce reeds and cage will increase throttle response.

You can also lighten your flywheel to make the engine rev up faster and more throttle response, but then it can make the engine want to fall below the powerband if you let of the gas or something like that, because of the less spinning mass.
