Grizzly 600 diff on a 97 kodiak?

Grizzly 600 diff on a 97 kodiak?
I've got a 97 kodiak 400 and was wondering if I was to get a diff off one of the older grizzlys with selectable 2 or 4, would it mount up? I have the resources to make any kind of mounting I would need but I'm not sure if the angle of the drive shaft would work out etc. Would I be able to use kodiak axles? Would be awesome if I could get it to work so I'm not stuck in 4wd all the time. Any info is much appreciated.

I was actually thinkin about a diff off a late 90s grizzly 600. I figured they would be more similar. So a diff from a 00+ model 450 should work also? BTW I'll be using my stock kodiak front drive shaft if that matters.
