Default 700 raptor exhaust musts?

if you get full exhaust on a raptor 700 is there any musts you need to have other than correct jetting and air filter. i talked to a guy and he said you have to get some type of programmable box. i dont really want to have to program one is there any you dont have to program and do you even need one. also what is the best dual exhaust for the 700 raptor.

The air filter is NOT a must, but for the price and added power you might as well. "Jetting" is going to require that fuel tuner your buddy is talking about(programmable box.) No way around it, running an aftermarket exhaust requires air/fuel tuning as well.

The 700's are fuel injected, there is no jetting to it. The programmer will take care of this for you.

There are several styles, if you are just going to do bolt ons (air filter/intake, exhaust, etc) you could go with a dobeck style controller, most of the exhaust compaines rebrand these for their exhausts e.g. HMF Optimizer, trinity's programmer, etc. If you ever plan on doing any internal mods I would go with a power commander III or power commander 5. The 5 gives you the auto tune option but that part is an extra $250 - $300 but you don't have to run the auto tune on it.

The duels are all VERY close in performance. Performance wise you can't go wrong with most of them but I have not seen any dyno comparisons for the trinity, DASA's, or Bug Guns. The DMC force 4's, barkers, LTE's, and Monsters are all about the same in performance, out of those 4 I recommend picking the one you think looks the best or you find the best deal on.

most places that sell the duels will offer a package deal on the programmer, exhaust, and intake kit.

Like said above you will need to purchase a fuel controller I purchased a lexx fuel controller for my KFX450 from rocky mountain they had the best price and it works great ill include a link, as far as the exhaust I just went with a slip on but they are all pretty comparable.

Not sure on the KFX but the raptor's head pipe is very restrictive, a slip on won't do much but add sound to a raptor.

Default raptor 700r exhaust mod

If I take the spark arrestor out of my stock exhaust on my raptor 700r to make it louder do I have to get a fuel management system, or make any changes to gas or air flow?
