Default First Mods to my Griz - a Skidder

I built a Reese style 2" receiver and a couple attachments for my Griz. I have to take the bike to the shop and fab the receiver a bit more to give it two more points of bolt on attachment to the frame but with the erection bolt holding it to the factory hitch it is pretty strong. I am just worried that even though that bolt is a structural steel erection bolt no matter how tight I get it to the factory hitch it may swivel if tugged real hard. It will be easy enough but I need the bike with me to get the bolt holes to match up perfectly before I weld it. The skidder idea I stole from another post but I built it to swivel so that the log will track better coming out of the woods. I have not tested it yet but will be cutting a tree soon to get some action shots.

Looks like your log skidder should work out pretty well. I suggest adjusting your springs up stiff when your pulling heavy logs to help maintain as much clearance as possible. Your hitch with hook looks nearly identical to one I built for myself. Nice job! Did you get the PM I sent about the CV guards?
