The 350 is essentially unchanged from the '86 Warrior. The 250 is much more modern, not to mention lighter. In a straight up drag race, my money would be on the 350. Handling, suspension, and power/weight ratio is more favorable for the 250 though which gives it an edge for track and trail.

Yup, 250 has a great suspension but, power isn't there. I think it's designed for younger beginners getting into sport quads. It's a much smaller machine. I can fit a 350 but, the 250 was much to small.

My son has a 250 and his friend has a 350 the 250 out performs the 350 in drag races and the track The 250 is a bit small for a adult rider. Just reporting what I have witnessed the top speed of the 350 is about the same but the 250 reaches it faster

Interesting. I have ridden both, but not at the same time and never seen them raced against each other. I agree the 250 is tiny compared to the 350, basically Yamaha revamped the old 230 Suzuki Quadsport for current times, lol.

This is generally what i've heard too. 350 is a little dated in its suspension, 250 handles better and accelerates a little quicker.

Not sure your reasoning for asking, but if you are trying to decide on which you want i think the size is a bigger role here and you should probably be thinking about either a 250 class, or 350/400 class machine rather than comparing between two machines in different classes.

i've ridden both, 250 definitely isn't faster, but it has alot better low end power manage ment. It definitely is lighter and the suspension is alot softer/more forgiving than the 350. The 350 suspension definitely is dated, but the bike is not ment to be jumped. If you want a smooth/softer ride look into the aftermarket. I wouldn't recommend the 250 over the 350 though, the 350 is a better starting platform and even with simple ad ons will outperform the 250. The only time i would ever think of recommending the 250 is to someone 9-13 wanting to get into 4 wheelers. otherwise you will be upgrading quickly.
