Here is a deal for you. $100 gets you on the waiting list for a 2002 Raptor. And when it comes in October (I know thats a long time), $6,100 and its all yours, out the door. I cant wait.

 

Hell, if you want a Raptor now, I know of a dealer in Washington that has 3 of them on the showroom floor (two blue and one black/white).

 

Mission Yamaha, Laguna Nigel CA has two blue Raptors on the floor. Ask for George Berta if you call.

 

If it's to be sold in the Phoenix area, it AINT gonna be that cheap! The dealers around here are a bunch of ruthless bast-turds...especially Town and Country in Chandler! I'll believe this price claim when I see it with my own eyes!

The dealer is in Parker, AZ. They have a web site that can be found in the Yamaha dealer finder. As for the post on where i can get one now i dont really want a 2001 for the following reasons,

My DS650 will give me some thing to ride until it arrives

And the 2002 Raptor is rumored to be a six speed with 3.8 more horse power.

 

RUMOR being the key work here...how many of those have we seen come true lately?? 6-speed?...38 MORE horsepower? Boy, the crap's a-flyin' now! Yeah, it would be real nice, but don't hold your breath, because you might turn very blue! Where do people come up with this stuff????

 

38 more HP the damn thing would be lucky to make 38 hp now!
