87 moto 4 80cc badger

Default 87 moto 4 80cc badger

has anyone replaced the clutchs on one of these is it a pia or not to bad do i need to pull the whole engine or just the side cover. also i have the top end apart right now how do i get this thing back in time crank to cam that is. what is a good service manual to get that is handy to have thanks in advance.

well i just dug into this thing heck if i new the the hardest part about the clutch replacement would be scraping the old gasket off i wouls have done it a while back man they run so much better now its crazy. wheelie machines now

Everything is pretty easy on these.
Just don't run it with the LH side cover off the engine. I did that with mine and there is a pin that holds the shifter forks that can fall out without that cover and toast your tranny gears. Don't ask how I know.

Was it a clutch kit that you bought? If so, how much was it?
