In a couple days I am going to buy handguards and tires. I was hoping you guys can help me out. I was thinking about XC bandits. I have no idea for handguards. Please give me a list brands and likes and dislikes !!! 2001 raptor two days old . On the way!!!! pro design pro flow foam filter system w aluminum adaptor, dura blue axle posilock locknut, dura blue eliminator axle 2+2, ac swingarm skid plate, twist throttle, ac full chassis skid plate, shockwear kit, and pro design tether cord all from motoman I think they were pretty cheap! I going to race haresambles in south dakota. ps. and is there a radiator guard. THE RAPTOR IS PRETTY WICKED

I have the UFO handguards, and they fit like a glove, no lever trimming required.

As far as tires go, I'm running Holeshot XCT's, but am looking at buying either a set of Bearclaws or Spidertraks for mud riding.

I am also looking at replaceing the tires on my Raptor with some type of mud tire. Please keep me informed on what you buy. How large are you going? I would like to go as big as will fit under the fenders and clear the heel guards. Might even consider rearranging the heel plates in order to go larger. Thanks

I have 22-11-9/23-7-10 RazR's on mine and I ran a harescramble last weekend in Columbia Mo that was mudy as heck. I didn't get to go but one lap because I broke my clutch perch on the start due to a little mishap with another competitor. I don't know how many hills and mudholes I went through that had other people hung up. The tires were awesome for traction and the height helped alot since most ruts were formed by 20 inch tires.
