Default needs an answer

i have a yamaha kodiak 450 and when we were driving it home from mud riding the other day we noticed that once you get up to about 8mph it starts revving up real loud and wont go faster can somene please tell me whats wrong???

You got mud/water into the belt housing and the belt is slipping

I can bet once you take the floorboard off and the clutch housing off you will find it loaded with mud/sand and crap!

Have fun cleaning it out! Especially the primary clutch - might be a good time to go grease-less

In the future if you plan on mud blasting - Snorkle up your quad
