cdi questions
#1
my 2007 raptor 350 has no spark so im trying to diagnose its problem, i have a 2001 warrior that runs good , and was wondering if i can put the cdi, coil, rectifier, ect on the raptor or will it burn up the cdi? thanks, any help would be appreciated.

You won`t be able to use the parts from your Warrior they are different and probably won`t even plug in. It`s most likely the stator if you have a manual you should be able to test the stator with an OHM meter to see if it`s out of spec.

The coil is the same or very similar, not sure about the rectifier. The CDI should work the engine if it will plug in and the wires match up, the plugs are probably different, though, Yamaha changed the loctions of all that stuff on the Raptor. It would be best to get a volt/ohm meter and a manual and test each component. In my experiences the ignition coil is always the 1st to fail.
