3 quick questions
#1
1- How many us gallons does a 99 Warrior hold?
2- The reverse gear selector, when you disengage the reverse gear, there is a posi-lock forward postion, does anyone else have play after the lock? i.e. when I go from reverse to forward, you pull the handle up, push forward and push the handle down, mine pushes another 1/2" forward- moving the linkage. I am trying to relate this to my "not getting in gear" post earlier.
3- It is pulling to the left. The adjustment cams... what is the best way to tell if the left tire is pulling to the left or if the right tire is pushing to the left?

Faraday, The tank capacity is just a tad over 3 gallons. The reverse control sounds a little sloppy on adjustment. To check for improper tie rod adjustment, test ride on a flat road with no camber take your hands off the bars and if it is pulling to either side, you possibly have tie rods bent or unequally adjusted or unequal pressure as already suggested.

I took it on the road, it pulls left. I even took it on a road that is beveled... it pulled me over the hump and down in the shoulder. I checked the air in each tire. Tire pressures are equal, left to right. Now I know that the rods need adjusting... how do you know which one to adjust. How can I tell if it is the right tire pushing or the left tire pulling? I don't notice any irregular wear patterns on either tire.

To check proper length of both tie rods, measure from the center of one ball joint to center of opposite ball joint. The length must be 325mm or 12.8 ". If not, the length is adjusted by turning either nut clockwise or counterclockwise to the specs above. The length of visible threads on each end must be the same. In would be sure to test after adjusting on a perfectly level (no camber) road. If the adjustments are done correctly there should be no wander unless the problem is elsewhere, such as in the camber on either wheel.
