Best chain lube
#1
I own a Yamaha Blaster and I use regular oil to lube the chain, but it leaves a black greasy coating all underneath the quad. Is there something better out there I could be using? I think there is some spray stuff at the dealer for like 7 bucks, is it worth it?

Anything sticky like PJ1 attracts dirt and acts as an abrasive and will wear out your chains & sprockets. I called Sidewinder Sprockets and they recommended Tri-Flow found it at local dealer works great

Your local show should have it or at least be able to get it. It's a spray! You have to first clean the chain, then take a short 5 minute ride just to warm up the chain. Stop and lube the rollers and inner sideplates. Be sure to wipe off the excess. It's great. Nothing sticks to it. If your local shop cannot get it I'm sure you can order it from a book somewhere. Maxima is the brand I use, but many more are out there.
