Rob i have also been in the atv and motorcycle repair for over 30 years and I have an repair business also And iknow sometime we have brain busters also...So I am just tryn to get an history on this atv....Thats why I am asking you so many questions...But we all can feel for you...So just hang in there..I have never had an cdi that would cause an lean mixture on carb,models..But anything is possible now days...IMO I do think its in the air and fuel ratio...

No problems with the questions it just helps me rethink everything I have done. I have moved the needle all over and even went from a stock main jet to a 165 which is huge and no change. I think it has gotten worse since its been in the shop. The History.. The guy has not owned it very long and the machine is in great shape. He said there has been no problems with it until he brought it in and started to run rough.

The only other thing on this machine is it had one of those after market cycle country eletric shifters on it. The customer said it never worked right and blew the fuse so they left the fuse out. Which what caoused the clutches to burn up. The spring was not strong enough to put the shifter back in positione after shifting to anouther gear becaouse the motor was holding it up. This sytem was tapped into the stator and pulg cap so I removed it fromt the ATV.

I Did ride it but I didnt realt notice the run problem, just more on the no shifting problem and I was concentrating on how the clutches were acting. Is there anything internal I might not have done right to some how make it run like this, like somthing is holding the motor back? Thanks for your help.
