Ive seen some guys say a z80 beats a banshee lnfao there is now way a banshee will kill it a stock banshee will kill a yz125 now a yz250 hmmm the yz250 has the banshee beat, but add some pipes a pro flow kit with air box lid off and that banshee will have top end on that yz250 for sure if the yz250 is stock or with a pipe.

well i didnt really understand yamahafans comments, maybe its just me but i didnt make sense (grammatically or whatever) But a banshee will kill an 80, a 125 will beat a banshee maybe through 2 or 3 gears, and then the banshee will catch it mid and top range. Then a 250 will be so far ahead of the banshee its not funny. Thats stock for stock.

My 1990 CR80r hits at least 75. I've outrun many 125's and even a couple of 250's. But I didn't say I did it on a stock CR80r.

Hey guys~
An 80cc bike is not going to beat a Banshee! My scrambler is damn near equal to a CR80 in a drag race all the way to top end! Then I VERY slowly creep ahead. That's what I've found from racing 3 different 80's about 20 times total! According to Yamahafan, my Scrambler is faster than a Banshee? Hmmm, Eventhough I'd like that, IT"S NOT TRUE! I'm assuming Banshee is about equal to a 125 and always behind a 250.

when mine was stock i raced my friends 97 kx125 with a pro circuit pipe, and from 1st till 6th i had him by probably about 4 or 5 quad lenghts. once i couldnt go any faster he passed me out. at the time i also had 18 inch tires and didnt gear it for top end. so it had lots of acceleration and no top end speed.
when mine was stock i would race my friends yz125 with pro circuit pipe and pretty much the same results occured.
now a 250 would kill me...

how do banshees with pipes run with the 250s? are they about the same?

A piped banshee will kill a cr80 and will dust a piped cr125. I know that because I have done that. A cr250 is another story. I have never raced one.
