Warrior won't go into gear
Hopefully someone can help me, I bought a 2003 warrior. When I got it home I could shift it into gear and wanted to try to pop start it the next day( I bought in need of a starter clutch so the starter just spins and engine doesn't turn) when I went to pop start it I couldn't get it into gear?? I tried and tried played with reveres a little, still got nothing. I was messing with the reverse prior to pop starting it as well. What could cause this, the guy sold it to me saying he put a new clutch on, when I pull the clutch lever in its a little on the heavy side isthis normal? Did he screw up? Where do I start? Any help at all would be awesome

Mine has done this to me also, it can get In between rev and forward on the direction gear selector. Try rolling it (use of a buddy will help) and pushing down on foot gear selector and pull up on knob for direction selector (the rev lever) and pushing it forward, all while rolling it hopefully the gears will mesh back in together and it'll be in a forward gear. Without the engine or tranny turning the forks in tranny can't push past a gear that's not meshing with the next, make sense? Give a try and post. A heavy clutch could be normal if stiffer springs were installed, or maybe cable needs some oil.

does the warrior have a linkage setup for forward/reverse selection? if so try adjusting the linkage, it may not be putting it into forward all the way
