Default Yfm80 Cam Chain Dampeners?

I am stumped on how to properly install them. The manual is very vague and just says to install them and then there's a pic of them installed. The lower one seems to make sense on how it installs but the upper one makes no sense as they have it in the picture. There is no room to put it on "under the chain" as it shows. Pleas, anyone got pics or can guide me? I finally found some time to do this and now I hit a wall.

Both just drop into place, I'm talking about the plastic guides. that hold the chain tight. Both go on the outside of the loop of chain, one on the front/lower side and one on the upper rear side. They just drop into the bottom of the case, and the cylinder head holds them down, with the spring loaded tensioner
Here is a manual
