I got a 04 yfz 450 a couple months ago and I wanna know what I gotta freshen up or look at. It leaks oil out of oil filler cap and the oil filter cover. I dont know how many hours it had on it and I put about 50-75 hours on it since. It has the airbox lid off baffle removed and its jetted. What should I check or replace?

 

Not a Yamaha guy,but might need a new o- ring for the filter cover and filler plug.Plus check if it's too full of oil?

 

Yup sounds overfilled or a leaky o- ring. Also make sure the filter is screwed on tight.
