I just got finished installing my eliminator 2+2 axle. Before starting i measured the width and it was like 42" after the axle it was around 44.7", does this sound about right?

that doesn't sound right the bike should measure around 43.3" stock and with the +5 you should be at 48" and change. I'd check to make sure you have the spacers mounted correctly.

 

I ordered a 2+2 and Golden West sent me a +2. It was around 45 wide. Snapped it anyway so Durablue said I had the +2 and the invoice said 2+2. Getting a real 2+2 this time, I hope!!! My brother has the Banshee axle and he is at 48.

 

Between wich two points did you measure ?, I got 52" measured from outside to outside of back wheels. That is with a 2+2 axle and beadlock rims.
