Thanks MM. I did get the shaft connected, but I had to connect the framing to the swing arm then slide the connect the shaft and finally bolt the framing to the motor. I'll be posting more updates soon.

A little update. Haven't put a lot of time in the electrical lately but will start back on it this weekend. Added a new dash and steering wheel. Instead of leaving the fuel as gravity fed, I added a fuel pump and a 3 gallon fuel tank. I tapped the intake between the carb and head, then added a barb fitting. Thinking that the vacuum may pull to much fuel so I'm going to put a T in the line to let excess fuel drain back into the tank. Also got the wheels/tires mounted on the front, I just added 2" spacers/adapters on the rear so the rear tires are just on the studs for the pic.

Hooked all the wiring up the way the manual diagram looks but motor wouldn't crank. Jumped the starter off the battery and it cranks, so it's in the wiring. The starter relay is new, everything else is questionable. I read that the pickup coil usually causes motor not to crank by key, and I've been searching for info on how to test the CDI, pickup coil, etc but not luck yet.
