Default is this a good trade?

im possibly trading my 2000 Yamaha warrior and my 2011 114 pitbike to an 2005 banshee. ive go a lot of aftermarkets into both my bikes and the banshee is supposedly the same also im going to have to put up 100 dollars, a set of cheap rims and drive to him 45 minutes away.

It depends. I feel anyone into sport quads should own a Banshee at some point. However, when they get "gremlins" they can be a real pain in the backside to deal with. Also the Banshee is about the least agreeable quad to ride tight trails with. For most, once you crack that throttle and hear the twin 2 stroke wail, well that is a sound that will haunt your soul. Some in a good way, some bad.

From what I have seen, usually somebody gets screwed when trading. Don't let it be you!
How much is the pitbike worth?

first off the pitbike I paid 400 for and it didn't need anything but the carb cleaned. and a pitbike is a small dirtbike with a small tire that generally has been lifted up and a bigger engine mine has the frame of a xr50 with a 12 horse motor on it, its called an ssr 110 if you want to look it up. and also a did go through with the trade and man is this thing fast!!! the guy didn't know what he had. its got cool heads and Toomey t5s and that's what I can see, he said it was all stock. but it has nerf bars on it and they stop to kick start from doing a full kick so I had to roll start it to test ride it but when I got home I took the nerf bar off and tried to kickstart and it wouldn't start it has a good kickback to it but just wot start any suggestions?

Well IMHO 2 strokes are a pain in the azz to keep up especially a quad like a banshee! just my opinion but that doesn't sound like a trade I would do, BUT the choice is yours! a 2 stroke banshee will definitely be faster but not good on the trails. the warriors have a strong indestructible engine unlike the banshee! good luck and stay safe riding (especially with a banshee).

Also be very careful some 2 stroke quads have a lot of underlying problems that will creep up after you get it costing quite a lot of $$

Is the banshee stock? The lure of added work being already done can be appealing, but it can also mean it's been ridden hard.

Do you know the owner well, or is it just a passing acquaintance? Knowing the history of the quad will go a long way as well.

If you got the banshee for your wife, some might consider that a good trade.

NADA, as much as you could use it, says the Warrior is worth $1200 and the Banshee, if a 350 non special edition is worth $3300...
Knowing it may help, they are a blast to ride for sure, hate to get on a regular 4x4 after being on one for sure, feel like a grandpa turned into a kid experience, check her out good, look at oil, bearings, chain-sprockets, etc make sure no rounded off nuts or bolts, but appears the value is considerably higher on it, I would jump on it and never look back, especially if you have another 4x4 for work...
Pulling out a plug and reading it may help too... see if too lean-rich etc...
