Any other location for VIN than left side frame by fender, mine is impossible to read to register...

JY then looks like a 4 then a space that may have 0A, 0X CA, or CX, then W000H and VIN decryption key either a 6 C or G and production number...

If there is another location, paint is missing and area is rusty, hate to sandblast and wipe it out, would be great to know.

They put some other model exhaust on it and cannot read engine serial without pulling exhaust...

Tossed some flour up on it, now looks like JY4L then an X or a Y, W000HC then production number... On one site an H is a 87 and on another it is an 88... ??
Anyone with a 87 or 88 know the first sequence of the 4x2? thanks...

 

Researching other posts on web, appears JY3 1YW00 0 H C XXXXXX should be correct...
The 1 looked like an L, should be a 1987 YFM350ERT, used a post on eBay and serial they used to sell a part for one...
1YW should be my engine code to if I could see it with exhaust on...
