Default First Look: 2015 Yamaha Viking 6-Seater

Yamaha's got an all new side-by-side for 2015. Built on a new frame, the Viking VI chassis features six comfortable and secure bucket seats – each with 3-point seat belts and headrests – set within a walk-through cab design..

how much bigger are these things gonna get? surely the frame's stretch can handle the "fun". sure is a long looking wheelbase.

62" wide leaves only some parts of Maine as far as New England riding goes.

Has Greyhound released their version yet?

Whatever happened to going riding to get away from everybody?

i guess some folks don't like individual independance. maybe they like to just tag along and ride rather than drive.

This looks like a good time for Yamaha to introduce a bigger engine. I guess if someone has a few kids, this is one way to haul everyone in one machine. Its almost getting big enough now that something like a jeep cj or a compact truck isn't much bigger and costs a whole lot less. And you can drive it to the trail instead of having to buy a car hauler to tow it there.

Just don't think a 700cc motor is enough to pull six adults. High centering looks easy too. Also wonder what the turn radius is.

I will say the price is lower than I expected.

Imagine seeing this on the trail? Would be impractical on a farm too. I bet Honda sells more pioneer 500s then yamaha does these lol

It's the same motor that powers the 400lbs chain driven/5 speed Raptor
