I think it was a good choice to lock up the other thread. I have had a couple "not so good" experiences with certain companies but would refrain from outright bashing them publicly.

I own a chain of stores and we get a couple distraught customers every month. It is unfortunate but shipping delays and unsatisfied customers come with the territory. I have learned that even by giving 110% effort towards the clients...there will always be some sort of problem once in a while.

Final note: The client is NOT always right! LOL

well, they are cool people to talk to. The only thing I ordered was the 250x to 350x conversion kit w/ the exhaust. I dont know who built the exhaust over there, but I have had to weld the muffler twice, the clamps all broke that hold the sections together, and it leaks a little between the different parts. the head pipe bolts on good though, thats about it. if they made a headpipe that I could bolt on a supertrap muffler that would be great.

anyhow thats my 2 cents

Man, thats a bunch of BS. Since when did someone who works for a company become such a god that he is above a call at his house. Point is, If they had delivered what they promised, when they promised, none of this would have happened. I know that a few hunderd dollars is not that much for a business, but when it is your few hundred dollars being held up with no product to show for it then it is a different story.

Powroll is working on a different muffler for the conversion. They've had the same problem with the DualShot over the years, so they want to find a muffler that will have a longer life.

They're currently testing stainless mufflers, since all the other aluminum mufflers they've tested broke after about 6 months of hard riding

You can make a Supertrapp racing muffler, or an FMF Megamax work with the Powroll headpipe. It just takes a little welding and about a 2" piece of 1 3/4" tubing.

I can see both sides of the story from my point of view.. RW660 had a right to be flames.. I expect something to be done when it is said to be done... But, it was not Pam's fault. I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with PowRoll, since I mainly ride 2 strokes, but I have heard praises come from their buyers. What Pam said in the other post is true, Powroll does not have big, flashy advertisments, so their company has been publicised by woord of mouth, and nothing else! A company that treats a customer as bad as RW660 claimed that he was, cannot, and will not stay in business. From what I have seen, Pam is a very nice lady, and reacted as any normal person would've, given her situation. RW660 apologized, so all is well... RIGHT?? Don't make me get mad.. lol

You sure are quick to change sides. Just one week before this blew up on Friday, I received a email from Pam saying that the cam had been shipped. The same day All Season Sports called and they were told it would be shipped later the following week. ????? When I emailed Pam about it her response was a little snotty. (To me anyway) I never was rude to these people once until the phone call. Being told your cam is shipped and then being told not until next week can lead you to believe someone else is getting their cam shipped to them and you are not. Powroll's representive called All Season Sports on Monday and said they had screw up by telling us two different things. Neither the dealership or I was contacted at anytime last week other than a phone conversation by the dealership. They were told it would be shipped Thursday by air. Well it wasn't shipped until Friday (and by ground) and we weren't told. I guess when I am kept in the dark I should be happy. 95% of you would blow a cork. I was wrong to call her at home (although I enjoyed it) but don't let that cloud the issue that the company screwed up. Everyone screws up including me. We were told twice it was shipped and when to expect it and the information wasn't correct. 1. We were told it was shipped and it wasn't. 2. We were told it would arrive on Friday and it didn't. 3. We were told it would be shipped by air and it wasn't. 4. It came COD. Sorry I am not more understand when I am being jacked around. In my work I deal constantly with the IRS, Attorneys and divorce settlements. I guess it has turned me into an insensitive ***!!!

I agree with you Jason, some clients just go too far sometimes. Delivery delays are common placwe in any buisness. If I were to list all of stories of clients who have called my house and threatened me, I would have enough to fill at least 3 pages!

Buisness is buisness and home is home. I find it reasuring that Pam would come on these forums and explain the situation also. It shows proof of good service.
