Can I get some opinions on how this machine performs, and any thoughts on it.

Thanks in advance,
Archie

Great trail runner, you gotta work the gears and drive it agressivly to reach it's full potential, it's a fun ride, just don't try to make it a mud bogger unless you have lots of money to spend...

So it will not go as many places as most 4x4 will?

I beleive the Wolverine is a fairly well rounded buggy, its fast if rode fast...and it'll bog the mud pretty well for me,never got stuck(yet). In the woods,if rode agressively to find the power,it'll go with most of your buddies,if not lead the way once in a while.

My buddy has a 1995 Wolverine that he bought new from the dealer in 1999 (still in the crate). He uses it 90% of the time for sport/trail riding and loves it. This is one tough quad. He rods it constantly, and it never lets up. The 4WD is nice, though not quite as effective as my Polaris, but in terms of durability, it's hard to beat it. The thing about the Wolverine that I admire is the fact that it has a very good power to weight ratio. He can keep up with Scramblers and Sportsmans without any problems. He can wheelie and backslide to a decent degree, and for pit riding, etc. this bike is very effective, due to the full time 4WD. In all, a very capable quad, and with the recent addition of racks, very versatile...

Excellent machine man. Clocked mine the other day on the road along side my car and it hits 65 miles/hr. Good speed for a 4by and you won't get that speed from any other accept maybe some of the 500's out there. Pretty good for a 350cc though. Its excellent in mud, snow, trails, generally its good at virtually everything. Just modify it to your standards and for what you want to do with it and it will shine. Check out some my pics.
