Im gettin kinda tired of hearing about the new 4-stroke "Flavor of the month" It aint gonna be THAT fast. Just going to be another new quad that the Magizines rave about until a new one comes out. It is kinda s*itty that we have to find out for ourselves how fast a quad is because you cant rely on a Mag article. Everyone thought the 400ex would smoke a Banshee until you raced one, everyone thought a DS would smoke a Banshee until you raced one, and everyone thought a Raptor would destroy a Banshee until you raced one, and now the Mags are pretty sure that the FX will smoke every other quad out there, but I think we all know how this story is going to end. I think that the owners of Raptors and Banshees are not going to have a lot to worry about with the coming of the FX. I think Id rather have my Shee or Raptor and a extra $2000 in my pocket.

Why Bash a quad before it even Has time to proove itself? Im intrested in seeing what these things can do. I know there not a 2 stroke Thumper crushing Banshee/Zilla/or R, or anything like that LOL! But I take the time and effort Cannondale HAS put into this bike seriously! Great Areodynamycs All aluminum frame, Fule Injector, best shocks ever put on a quad, Unstock Tires, and full Exhuast system. It seems to me like Cannondale's not jokeing around with this Machine! Personaly I can't wait to see one of these Bad machiens in action.

For someone that doesn't "give a flying freak about the c-dale" you sure do spend a lot of time posting negative comments about it.

Chill out, sit back and enjoy the fact that there are finally some choices again in the sport quad world.

Don't you think we were all tired of endless posts of people saying "Got my Raptor, smoked a Banshee", or " I'm on the Raptor waiting list", or, "The Raptor is the greatest thing since sliced bread"?

I think it's a great thing for the ATV world that all these manufacturers are striving to put the best that they have to offer on the floor. It only benefits us, the riders, that the competition is getting so tough between them.

You come on here and rant and rave about your bike, then, when someone comes out with a new product that will most likely stomp it, you get all defensive. Remember, the Raptor was the flavor of the month.

With a couple of mods on the Raptor, you have equaled the price of the FX, which is already modded.

Nothing but good will come out of these companies fighting to have the best quad out there. Sit back, enjoy it, and for god's sake, quit yer whinin'.

I think the Cannondale will be a nice quad. It will definetly be faster than the 400EX but it still won't touch the Raptor or Banshee in the speed department in my opinion. It is a very innovatve approach. Too bad the big 4 don't have the motivation to come up with something similar. How cool would an fuel injected, aluminum framed, sub 350 pound Raptor or Banshee be? Real cool in my book. I do wish they would change that ugly nose piece though. It looks like it came off some cheap mini quad but thats my opinion. I wounder how hard it would be to fit 250R plastic on it? hmm......

They are all faster than the 400EX. the Raptor, DS, Banshee and the new Cannondale are all faster than the 400EX unless you are one of the owners of a EX then they are still smoking them all. The 400EX while still a fine quad is in serious need of some HP. the cannondale is awesome, not that i am biased because i am a shareholder in Cannondale, it might no be for everyone.

Can you not look somewhere else?
I used to get Dirtwheels...but the most interesting stuff in it were the ads. Everything else is "we test the fastest ever..." "we ride the meaner..." all the same bunch of crap. They can say whatever they want about it, in no way you should bash a machine you haven't put your butt on or even ridden with. you were right until you started saying I'd better get a Raptor and have 2000$ in my pocket...handling is not defined by numbers or price. Until you haven't ridden one, I don't think you are capable of saying it's not worth it.
I haven't even seen one for real, so the only thing I can feel for it is "a new real sport quad, real cool!"
At least give credit to C-Dale for doing something innovative and almost new from the ground up. All big4 sport quads are sport frames (sometimes not strong enough, sometimes welded wrong) with old dirtbike engines in them...call that innovative? I don't.

If Dirtwheels did a comparison between the EX250 and a Banshee the EX would win. That magazine is so biased towards Honda it's ridiculous.

I hear ya brother, i'm tired of these tame a$$ bikes too, but its nice to have some new blood.Maybe this is just the beginning and a real high performance quad is in the near future, but probably not, too demanding for the overly optimistic rider of nowadays.
