when i went out ridin today i noticed when i would stop accelerating and slowing down because i was coming to a sharp turn it wouldn't just start slowing down but it would stay in that part of the gear i was in and if i didn't touch anything it would continue on that part of the gear until i pulled the rear or front brake,.It also happened to me while idiling i would give it a little throttle and it justed stayed at that point for a little while then went down. Any suggestions? thanks

Hey ban95shee, I have had the same problem before. THe problem should fix itself when you warm the bike up. I know mine would do that, and it would continue to do it until I put it into 6th and got it wide open.. It should eventually go away, or I know mine did... later!

Your throttle is sticking from what I got from your description. They call that a recipe for disaster on a Banshee. Open the cover on the throttle and see if something is dirty or stuck. take off your air filter and look at your slides with a flashlight when you move the throttle. Something is stuck somewhere.

A Banshee stuck WFO can't be good.

Sounds like you just need to put some oil down your throttle cable. Hope that helps.

My Tecate4 did the same thing. I talked to a few other 2 stroke guys and they said some two strokes do that when they are low on fuel. I filled up the bike, and sure enough, it ran perfect.

Every time my T4 gets low on fuel it wants to run wide open like the throttle is sticking, but as soon as I add more fuel it is fine. Sounds crazy right? I thought the same thing, I had already went though the bike and the throttle works perfect. Does anyone know why it does this?
