Are stock Raptor tires acceptable for the dunes? Going to West Texas Easter weekend and just wondering if I need to invest in a set of paddle tires...

If you are planning to do dune riding on a regular basis, a set of paddle tires is worth the money, but if you only plan to ride the dunes a few times a year then the stock tires will do fine. The stock Raptor tires pull as good as any non-paddle tire in the sand, and you can get those kick a** slides and roostertails.

I am also meeting RaptorRRC at the dunes. Let us know what your plans are. I used paddles last time until I had a flat and put the stocks back on and rode all day with out much problems at all (Got stuck once or twice due to my inexperience in the sand). Not a big deal at all.
