Hey Guys I am a newbie here from NC. I just picked up a new addition to the quad family and a first utility type atv for me at that! I picked up a yamaha bear tracker 250, I have no idea on the year and I need a battery. When I bought it the guy put a battery in from another 4 quad so I could test drive it. He thought it was mid 90's but the only thing I can find is they started making them in 99'. Any help would be awesome and thanks again for having me!

 

I think Yamaha only made the Bear Tracker from 1999-2003 and as far as I know it has zero changes beside plastics and cosmetics. 1999 Yamaha BearTracker ATVs so just tell the place you need a Bear Tracker battery.

If you have the old battery just bring it to Walmart or what every store and there will be no mistake in matching it up and they give you a $10 discount for the old battery. That's what I did with my 350 Grizzly.
