What carb you planning on running it with?

My choice would be an FCR...

I have dual FCR's on my Raptor. I should have it Dyno'd within the next 2 weeks. I like to see the dyno of the single carb compared to the dual carb setup.

What is your reason for single carb rather than the dual carb setup.

What size are you using (never mind, just noticed your sig)?

Did it vastly improve the throttle response and power delivery?

Well, a single carb would be nearly half the price, be easier to tune, and have a lighter throttle pull.

Don't see the necessity of a dual carb setup on a single cylinder engine...

Points well taken but I don't understand why Yamaha would put the cost into the bike unless there was a good reason(whatever it is).

I work for an OE manufactures and we sweat every penny we put into a vehicle because it has such a huge impact on profit.

There is no comparison to the performance difference with the FCR's. I made major modifications to my intake system and the stock CV carbs could not handle it.

What would be the price difference between a really big carb. and two small ones. Are we talking hundreds?
