Default Banshee axle loose?

Hi, I was moving my banshee around in the garage today when I heard a clacking noise, I looked down at my axle and there's a gap between the (carrier?) and the axle. I can get it to move by moving the quad side to side. Would this mean my carrier is worn out or could my axle nuts be loose? Thanks!

Yes, usually loose axle nut. They are notorious for that. Hopefully that's it and the splines on the axle aren't worn.
