My Father-in-law is looking for a quad with racks, a 400 or bigger,4 stroke automatic, (would like one that can go from 2 to 4 wheel drive). I am into sport quads and have little info for him on this kind of quad. Thanks for the help.

 

You've just described the Kodiak. It's the only choice for what he wants.

 

defenitely the yamaha kodiak 400. my uncle has one on the farm. its great.

 

Kodiak is alll you need to know. I ride with 2 01 Kodiaks and there great machines. Check them out and show to your father in law. Really nice looking quads. One has stock tires (red) and one has 26" Bear Claws (green).
