I am buying a new quad. Either Banshee for $7000
Or Raptor for $9000. I live in Canada. I am still
in high school so money is a bit of an issue.
I love 2 stroke power but haven't RIDDEN both
quads. 4 stroke is less maintanence and less rebuilds. But $2000 is alot of money.
I AM LOOSING SLEEP HELP

you really need to ride both and then decide for yourself. You could always buy used if money is an issue.

Ok, so why the great price difference? Here in the states the difference is only $500. ($6499 verus $5999) I would go find another dealer because it sounds like they are trying to get rich.

my bro just bought a raptor used for $6000 and it had a pipe and paddle tire, and different sprockets to change the gearing. so dont be getting ripped off up there in canada. i would take the raptor over the banshee i own any day. It isn't as fast, but unless your drag racing it keeps up just fine. plus it handles way better, and the suspension is lots better than the banshee. My banshee felt way to outdated after riding his raptor at the dunes. Even if i can beat him up sand mountain in a race. But i'm not an all out hill shooter so it doesn't matter that the raptor is a little slower. because the raptor does everything else better. I would definatly tell anyone to get a raptor over a banshee. but thast just personal preference i suppose.

hello,
First of let me be the first to say that those dealers are not charging too much up here in canada our currency is of lesser value than american money so we have to pay more to get the same. Those prices are very typical around where I live Red Deer alberta the local dealers want the followin prices on these machines and most of these prices are condidered "low"

new sportrax 400ex- 8299 in blackfoot motorsports calgary
new raptor- 9000 at Kipp Scott in red deer
New banshee- 7599 in blackfoot motorsports in calgary
New Kodiak 400 4x4 SE-7999 at kipp scott in red deer
New DS650-8299 at riverside honda (somewhere around edmonton) and at my local shop 9499

Just thought I would clarfify the prices up here in canada.
