Currently trying to reassemble my 87 Big Bear 350. Completely tore down my transfer gear (few months ago, been on hiatus since). Today I installed new u-joints and put the transfer case back together. After installing the upper yoke and middle driven gear, they don't seam to want to seat properly). The yoke doesn't fully seat into the oil seal without pushing the driven gear out, leaving a gap. If I push the driven gear in, it pushes the yoke away from the oil seal... Perhaps this is normal and I'm overthinking it?
