Kodiak 400 '97 New carb runs rough
Just installed new carb on 97 Kodiak and runs good with the air filter and cover removed but bogs down with filter in place. Starts and runs normal in neutral with filter in. Thanks for any help

Chinese carb replacement? If so I'd go into it and check if jetting is the same as the oem carb and also blow out every opening as many have found dirt and trash.Some have found machining bits in bowls and some openings weren't machined all the way through.Better to rebuild the better quality Japanese carb if it isn't a total wreck.NEW Shindy - 03-311 - Carburetor Repair Kit YamahaˇKodiak 400 96-98 FREE SHIP | eBay
