Banshee vs Tecate4

Owning a Tecate4, I would not say that the T4 has no problem beating Banshee's. As long as the Shee can get going w/out spinning it is a very close race. I have a pretty tricked out T4, and I have no problem beating Shee's, but I have to be on my game.
Stock for stock, the T4 has a top speed of 75mph, a little more than the Shee, but you have to realize you are comparing a relatively small 250 to a twin cylinder 350. The Tecate4 does not get the recognition it deserves because Kawi bailed on the T4 after only 2 years. The T4 has much more motor than the 250r and the LT250, but production of two years left them by the way-side. Thus, you here more about the 250R, which rightfully so beause the 250R handled much better than the T4, but the T4 was much faster in top speed and a drag race.

I had a 87 tecate pipes and raced my buddys 87 banshee 370. I took him out of the hole and beat him in the midrange. On top end he could pull away but keep up with him. My other buddy has a 98 banshee piped. I can beat him on bottom, mid-range and on top end. When we both get maxxed out I can look back and he is about 3 to 3 1/2 four wheeler lengths ahead. The tecate would eat the banshee alive in a drag race.
