Sorry for this question I know its been asked a 100 times. I sold the Banshee yesterday then went and picked up a Raptor. What mods should I do first besides widen the rear 4". Also I noticed the Raptor power is real buzzt like the motor vibrates underload. Also It seems like it definetly needs 1 or 2 teeth down on the front sprocket.

Mac

Thanks

There are two ways to go...

1)pull the baffle out of the pipe, jet up a little and ride, ride, ride!!

or...

2)follow dseater's lead and melt your credit card!

just kidding dseater. I'm just jealous of your mods.

well if you ride woods i would definetly get a 12 tooth front sprocket. just did mine and man o man what a difference. definetly lost some top end speed but it will still top a 400ex. if you are duning or draggin i would leave the stock 13 on though.

For performance mods, I would agree with a pipe, jetting, cut snorkel flaps, and put uni-vents(or take off) in the airbox lid. That'll open her up!!

I myself have a brand new raptor in the garage now... thinking about giving it a little kick..

I know I'm going to go with a 12 sprocket up front, and maybe a pipe. I have seen alot of talk about the CT pipe, but no ones really said if they give the HP that CT says. Wondering if anyone has the CT pipe?

Anyone have any dynos of other pipes, preferably NOT from the manufacture of the pipe..

Thanks

Flip linkage and get some ZPS shocks this will lower the raptors ride height which enables you to rail turns etc.. handling is greatly improved. If you get a pipe go with TC Racing slip on the stock head pipe is good unless your going to go into motor. With the TC pipe you can run stock gearing and have no problem. Razor tires help and yes a wider axle is a must.
