Ok Guys, I just have some questions for some of you Banshee guru's out there. Please let me know if these are fact or fiction.

1. I have heard that the First Banshee (is it 87 or 88) was the fastest one, and they have gotten slower/tuned down every year.

2. This one kinda goes along with the first one. I heard that they early Banshee's would easily top 90mph, but I haven't seen any mag's or anything from back then so I don't know. The recent mag's say the top speed is between 68 and 72.

3. 2002 is the last year of the Banshee? (I have been hearing this for the past 4 years)

Got the manual here:

#1= They have the same exact motor. They put a 210 main jet in the 87-89's and a 200 from 90-01. Thats the only diffrence in the motor.

#2= Uhh... they weighed 8lbs less and with the diffrent jet... I dont know about that one.. I think they are basically the same..

#3= Havent got a clue
