Raptor intake manifold

I know theres lots of posts about blowing off the carbs... This happened to me back in December, so I put retightened the clamps. Apparantly I didn't have the carbs forward enough and I ripped the one side of the manifold. It's at the dealer now and they're saying the manifold is on back order from Yamaha. No estimate of when it might arrive.

When you say 'manifold,' are you referring to the front carb boots? When they are on back order, don't you think Yamaha would start to wonder if this is a common problem.
I DEMAND A RECALL!!!! Sorry, got a little excited. I haven't had this problem but I'm just waiting. I did a little preventative maintenance and removed the clamp spacers when the bike was brand new just to try and head off this damn problem. They need some sort of blow-off valve like my turbo DSM has to stop that kind of stuff!
