Little Sahara

I was there a few days before Easter weekend and had a blast. My 1st time also and we are thinking about heading back down to the dunes early Sept if we can work it out. I heard they had a pretty good crowd over the Easter weekend and following Snake hunt weekend. Was it very crowded out on the dunes ?

I have never been but would like to go this year. I normally ride at Glamis or the cinders near Flagstaff, Az. I understand the Little Sahara is near Nephi, Utah. I would appreciate directions and any info anyone could provide such as, what is the best time of year to go, what is the altitude at the dunes and what camping accommodations are available.
Thanks

Hey SS, I do the same thing when I see Little Sahara posted. Anyway, I went there for the first time this Easter and it is a great place to ride. Check my site for some pictures and directions and maps to get there as well as some camping info. I also have links to other duning sites (not many) that have info on LS too.. Altitude is 5000 feet except on Sand Mountain where it is almost 5700 feet; that's one tall hilclimb.
