Default 05 Bruin 350 Winch options

Hi all
looking at winches. RMATV has a 3500 tusk and I also see a warn vrx 35 out there. Does anyone have experience with either? I’m definitely looking for one that does well with an oem fit.

thank you

In my experience most all the major winch mfgrs use the same mount pattern so it boils down to which brand you prefer. If going with an offbrand like harbor freight their could be mounting issues.
my machine came with mounting plate already on so it just needed a winch bolted to it. I went with a KFI winch, been using it for 5 years with no issues, been buried in mud and water and still going strong!

In regards to Harbor Freight, I used their $5 mounting plate and their cheapest 2500lbs winch on my 04 Bruin. The plate mounted right to the factory mounting locations on the Bruin's frame, and I had to use some spacers (that I made from extra nuts) to lift the winch up just high enough to clear the heads on the bolts that mounted the plate, but it's solid and is not going any where. Works great! I've since replaced the steel wire rope with a synthetic rope.
