Moto 4 carb
#1
I have a Moto 4 350, I believe its a 1987 but cant find where the vin is to verify that. I bought it cheap and super beat up. The guy had said he put a $15 pile of junk carb on it from Amazon and I should replace it. I ran the thing all last summer fine, though it would idle erratically and hesitate in first gear, but it was still useable. After sitting for thw winter now it wont start. Instead of cleaning the carb that's on it, Id like to just replace the whole carb. Im just learning, so would like suggestions please on what to replace it with. Im wary of another no name chinese crap part from Amazon ir eBay, but Im not finding any other options.
Similar question for a Moto 4 80 Badger, I believe from the early 90s. This one also has some cheap Amazon carb. It starts and runs but likes to stall and loses power occasionally. I adjusted the carb screws for idle and mix and made it alot better, but ideally itd just have a better carb on it. I read somewhere that a Raptor 80 carb works fine on it. Anyone have experience with that and/or can recommend anything else?
