A-arms
#1
I rolled my raptor and it landed on the ft. tire the rim bent like a taco shell. tierod is thrashed and the left side a-arms are bent. Funny thing is the plastic doesnt have a scratch on it. Show now i have to buy new a-arms. uppers were priced at 190 and a lower was 170. so I was thinking of going aftermarket for a little more money. But if I go with wider ones do i have to get differnt shocks. and also will it ride ok with the stock axle since i'm going wider. I intend to switch axles but not right away. Also what brand a-arms and shocks do you guys suggest.

I am going through almost exactly what you just described, except I didn't roll mine. I purchased the Lonestar Rec +3 a-arms for $600 and the Stainless Steel Brake lines for $100 from K&K ATV. It made the front handle really well, rode it like that for a couple weeks then called Motoman..com and ordered a durablu 2+2 axle, now it really handles. One problem the front shocks are way to soft for the type of riding I do. I ran a race a couple of weeks ago and only bottomed out a couple of times now we race again this week and my Elka shocks should be here in 2 weeks. It's weird once you start messing with the width you are so tempted to go all the way quicker than you want to, but I'm sure when the shocks get here I will be one happy person.
