BENT RAPTOR AXLE
#1
Just my luck. I have been stationed in Korea for the past year and have been waiting since last June to ride my Raptor. I just got back the other day and went riding. I only have about 1 hour of riding on it when I hit a jump and landed straight up and down on my rear. I didn't seem like I hit to hard, I've landed like that before on a 400ex and nothing happened. Anyways the next day I went out riding and I notice my left rear wheel wobbiling. Sure enough I bent that bad boy. I had to drive 400 miles to get a new Lone Star from Nac's Racing. I've been reading these forums for that past year and heard all about the bent axles but didn't think it would happen to me. I hope this isn't a preview of the rest of my summer. Other than the bent axle I am very very satisfied.

nigman,
You might want to go ahead and richen up your fuel circuit also before you blow the boots off. If I remember, you got your Raptor pretty early, so I'm sure it hasn't been corrected. That might save you some downtime from fun!

I'm sure all the Raptors still have the same jets. What I meant was that there is a chance, either during build or at the dealer before the sale, that adjustments to the fuel mixture and/or needle position could have been made since they now know what causes it.
