I want to trade my 2001 banshee in on a 4 stroke. But I don't know which one to get. Save some money and get a 2002 raptor or trade it strait across for a 2001 400ex

 

I was in the same boat as you, a friend of mine happen to have a 2000 400EX so I was able to try out the Honda before I made my decision. I'll tell you I'm glad I got to really ride the Honda before I got rid of my Banshee. The Honda handles better but feels like its got half the power of the Banshee and after I owned a banshee and have got used to the power I knew I would be sinking over $1000 dollars into the 400EX before the power was acceptable to me. So I bought a raptor which Looks better hsa twice the power and a big bonus *Reverse* for about the same price I would have been into the 400ex for.
