jpoggi660r, I would think something is bent or not lined up right with your carbs. If the externall butterfly is not coming the whole way back without cable on then somethings probably in a bind or as I stated bent. I would tear the carbs down and check everything out and turn butterfly by hand before reinstalling carbs untill the problem is fixed. Good luck and let everyone know what the problem was when you find it.

Dana,

That's a super idea! After having to take my plastic off several times it has became something I dread.

One question though: I always used to take my cables loose when I jetted on my Banshee, but have never messed with them on the Raptor. Can you give me (or us) some details on what is involved in removing the throttle and choke cables?
