my local dealers only know how to place parts orders if the part # is in their computer. Guess what, no part # for small mikuni jets and they don't have them in stock. That's CA for ya.

btw, not looking for dynojet.
thanks.

I just put in some larger main jets. Was lucky enough to find them at the dealer. He says there are 2 styles of main jets. One is round with a slot across it (for screwdriver) and the other is hex head. Mine had the round ones. He did not have all the sizes I wanted and said if I call around, any Mukuni 4 stroke carbs would work but to be sure the were for a 4 stroke. I went from a 140 and 145 combo to 145 and 150 combo in hopes of stopping the carbs from blowing off on my Raptor. I am running an FMF muffler. Have not had a chance to ride it yet. He did not have any pilot jets so I will try that next. I have seen some post saying they ordered them from Sudco I think.

I got my Dynojet kit from Magic Racing (www.magicracing.com if you need a number). Thats all I could find, $69 for that. They also had 27.5 pilots for $4.00 each, so I bought 2 of those.

So I know Magic carries the correct pilots, but I have yet to find anyone that carries the mains not in the dynojet kit..

I have never bought any yet, but some guys were getting them from Sudco. That is where I am going to try when I order mine. I think you can get the K&N jet kit which is a Dyno-Jet kit from Rocky Mountain ATV for about $59 bucks.

Everyone is talking about "jet kits". What comes in them that makes them so expensive when you can get mains for $3 and Pilots for $4? What am I overlooking?

The jets kits are overpriced...

but you get 7 main jets, new needles, new springs etc... it's not a hugely horrible deal as some people make it out to be..

they've also done alot of the work for you as a starting basis for jetting.. and the new needles are supposed to help the mid range some...

all in all I'd have prefered to found jets.. but when I couldn't I just bought the kit
