Is there anything you can do to stop the Raptor from Bogging(running out of fuel) when doing a long wheelie??? After I get the Raptor to the balance point it craps out after a few seconds unless your reving the **** out of the motor.

Check the vent tube coming from in between the carbs for a kink. It comes back towards the airbox and it loops up over the air scoop. Mine had gotten kinked and it would bog on wheelies and then later on it really started running like crap. I found the tube had gotten kinked, I straightened it out and presto! Runs like a top! I replaced the tube with a thicker wall tube that will not kink anymore.

I've spent a lot of time and effort trying to cure this problem and only been able to slightly improve it. The problem is not that the carbs run out of gas, it is actually that they get flooded when the machine is wheelied near vertical. I adjusted my float height and that helped a bit but did not cure the problem. The best advice I have at this point is to turn the fuel petcock off just before you wheelie. I can go straight up and down for about 200 yards this way before it starts to run out of fuel. If you can wheelie one handed you can turn the petcock back on for a second or two at this point and then shut it back off and go another 200 yards. It will run cleanly this way. Just to let you know, my Raptor doesn't bog when doing long wheelies like 3/4 of the way to vertical. I have gone about 1/2 mile on the street without bogging.
