Raptor parts????
#1
I came across a Raptor frame, front&rear plastics and a stock axle.at a auction today. The parts were part of an estate sale.I got the these in a crate with a bunch of other motorcycle parts and was wondering if they are worth much or if it is a start to build something crazy the frame is straight the plastics have some white lines in them like it was rolled and bent over but i checked them with a friends and they seem o.k.I was thinkin of build something stupid but not sure if i could get the other parts without spending a ton of money.
ANY IDEAS ARE WELCOME

Dano,
I would be skeptical about the parts. I can see the axle being ok as it is a frequently upgraded part. Even the plastics are stretching it a bit, but maybe someone wanted a white one instead of a blue one, etc...
But the frame is a little odd, if its straight. You may want to check the serial numbers to see if they are still there, and if the frame is hot. I can't really see a reason to have the parts in a box like that without the others. Especially on a brand new machine. (Under a year old.)
I would be carefull.

I would have to say they're HOT. Check with the police and your local Yammie dealer. At my local dealer, there's a flyer that says this guys new Raptor fell out the back of his pickup the day he bought it, he turned around on the freeway to go back and get it and it was gone! I would really be careful. Just my thoughts.
